Media releases about new products and services, company and employee achievements and awards, charitable contributions and activities, and personnel promotions represent chances for free publicity if they are carefully worded to pass an editorial inspection.
Media releases can vary in length and in research requirements. Standard copywriting fees for media releases range from $500 to $1,000.
Contracts will be sent through Upwork.com's Direct Contract service. As a client, you do not need an Upwork membership. However, Upwork offers escrow and mediation services. For fixed-price contracts, half of the payment is due in advance with the remainder due upon completion of the work. If the contract is canceled for any reason after work has begun, the initial advance payment will be treated as a non-refundable deposit known as a kill fee.
The sale price is for first-time clients and small businesses. For small businesses, the sale price remains in effect until small businesses and the economy recover from the effects of the pandemic.
