π Blog Editorial Calendar and Post Series
Together a blog calendar and accompanying blog series provide you withΒ a related series of pre-written posts and a schedule that targets the optimum time for releasing a series on your selected subject. All you'll need to do is choose release dates for the posts during a period when your clients or customers will be most interested in seeking out the information in the posts and sharing them with others.
A series of blog posts on related topics draws readers back to learn more from each new post. Such a series establishes and builds your reputation as an expert. When the series is released at a time when your prospects will be most interested in and receptive to the subject, the impact of the posts and the attention they receive is enhanced even more.
Standard industry copywriting fees for a blog calendar ranges from $500 to $800 plus $250 to $800 for each blog post in the series. The fees depend the number of posts in the series and whether the series consists of long-form or short-form blog posts.
You are entitled to two revisions of each blog post in the series, but the revisions must fall within the scope of the work as described in the original contract. For example, if you requested short-form blog posts in the contract, requesting that they be rewritten as long-form blog posts would constitute a new order, not a revision.
The quoted fee of $1,500 covers a blog calendar for a one-month long series of four short-form blog posts. Short form blog posts run 500 to 750 words in length.
π For fixed-price contracts, half of the payment is due in advance with the remainder due upon completion of the work. If the contract is canceled for any reason after work has begun, the initial advance payment will be treated as a non-refundable deposit known as a kill fee.
Schedule a discovery call to discuss the best topics for a series of blog posts for the upcoming months with a writer who knows the seasonal influences on your business and industry.
