📝 White Papers or Special Reports (Pricing is per report.)
White papers or special reports offer your clients or customers in-depth information about new products or services, developments in your field or industry, and how-to information. They offer another opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in your field.
They range from 5 to 10 pages in length, approximately 2,000 to 4,000 words.
If you sell these special reports or sell subscriptions to a series of reports, they bring additional income for your business. If you give them away free, they constitute a value-added service for your clients.
Whether you sell them or give them away, when customers or clients share them, they can bring new potential customers or clients.
Depending on the subject, white papers can vary in complexity and the amount of research required. Standard copywriting fees for white papers range from $2,000 to $10,000.
You are entitled to two revisions, but the revisions must fall within the scope of the work as described in the original contract.
🛑 For fixed-price contracts, half of the payment is due in advance with the remainder due upon completion of the work. If the contract is canceled for any reason after work has begun, the initial advance payment will be treated as a non-refundable deposit known as a kill fee.
